Drunk Guys

The problem
I love parties and I do enjoy alcohol indulgence every now and then but the one thing I don’t like about parties is the embarrassment of the day after you’ve been drinking. And, almost inevitably, every party has at least one person who wakes up only to hear all the regrettable things he or she did the previous night, go puke in the nearest toilet, and feel like shit (not necessarily in that order).

However, it’s almost more embarrassing if the drunken person did something to you (being relatively more-or-less-sober) because unfortunately, you remember it clearly and have the task of trying to get around the awkwardness of it.

Needless to say it’s a well known and biological fact that alcohol increases sexual drive. Of course, this doesn’t cause too many problems when it’s the girl who’s been drinking as, let’s face it, no guy is really going to say no to a girl who has lost all her inhibitions. Drunken guys, however, are another matter. It doesn’t matter if you were friends or complete strangers prior to the excessive drinking; once they’re safely under the influence they’ll do anything to try to get with you..

The regular advice
Try to stay away from guys you know have drunk a lot and think might try something on you. If possible try to stay within a group of friends and don’t leave your drinks unattended…etc.

My advice
Drunken guys are horny but remember most people become slower when they drink so it’s likely you’ll be able to escape should an unpleasant situation arise. A healthy smack across his face is the best solution. Mean? Sorta. Well-meaning? Of course. Fun? Definitely. It’s a win-win situation really.

Additional option, scream like the girl you are and hope one of the other guys who isn’t too drunk but has enough in him to be looking for a fight comes to your rescue. Since every guy’s itching for a fight and its fun to watch, here’s a win-win-win situation! And as for the next day, don’t let yourself feel awkward; remind him of what he did and watch his face slowly turn crimson.
